Thank you for competing in a Wisconsin Sport Karate League tournament in 2025! We are excited to announce a brand-new tournament for 2026:

Tournament Name: WSKL Legends of the League End of Season Tournament
Date: Sunday, February 1, 2026
Location: Madison Marriott West | Middleton, WI

EVENT FORMAT

• Open to all 2025 WSKL Members and non-members

• Competitors will compete at the age they were as of January 1, 2025

• Rank rules differ from other tournaments:

  • Competitors may compete at the highest rank earned as of December 7, 2025 (Battle of the Badger State)

  • Example: If you earned points as an Advanced Belt in 2025 and received your Black Belt after BOBS, you may still compete as an Advanced Belt at Legends of the League

• Registration closes one week before the tournament on January 25, 2026 to allow coordinators to properly set the competition order

BLACK BELTS

• 2025 Division Winners automatically advance to the Finals

• Semi-Finals format:

  • Non-members will be shuffled and compete first

  • 2025 Members will compete in seeded order (e.g., 2nd place goes last, followed by 3rd, 4th, etc.)

• Top 10 participants receive a medal

• Semi-Finals awards:

  • 2nd Place: Bronze Medal

  • 1st Place: Golden Ticket to the Finals

• Finals:

  • Semi-Finals Winner vs. 2025 Division Winner

  • Champion: Gold Medal, Certificate & Embroidered Black Belt

  • Runner-Up: Silver Medal & Certificate

UNDERBELTS

• Non-members will be shuffled and compete first

• 2025 Members will compete in seeded order (1st place last, then 2nd, 3rd, etc.)

• Top 10 participants receive a medal

• Awards:

  • Champion: Gold Medal & Certificate

  • Runner-Up: Silver Medal & Certificate

SPARRING

• All divisions are single elimination

• 1st Place Match: Two 90-second rounds with cumulative scoring

• Top 10 participants receive a medal

• Awards:

  • Champion: Gold Medal & Certificate

    • Black Belts also receive an Embroidered Black Belt

  • Runner-Up: Silver Medal & Certificate

  • 3rd Place: Bronze Medal
